-Responsible for designing, modeling, developing and supporting Database Management Systems

(DBMS).

Our retail industry client, located in Irvine, is looking for a Software Developer to join their small team on a full-time, direct hire basis.  Reporting to the IT Manager you will design and develop software applications to support the organization.  There is a strong focus on maintaining their core systems and consumer facing websites, as well as an initiative to upgrade SharePoint.  You will also be responsible for creating new applications using Microsoft technologies.  You must have a solid business application programming background and fundamental knowledge of the software development life cycle, and adapt quickly to new and changing technologies.

Our client, a national hospital chain with its headquarters in West Los Angeles, is looking for a Sr. SQL Server Developer on a full-time, regular hire basis reporting to the Director of Systems Architecture.   We are looking for a strong database developer to help design and develop MS SQL Server based applications.  Strong understanding of relational database and experience in application development, data modeling, and warehouse integration is preferred.
 
Responsibilities
In this role you will take charge of data persistence tier and database design. Additional duties may include backing up production DBA, troubleshooting production issues.
  • Provide contribution to a development team. Be responsible for the design, development and implementation of critical database projects using best-of-breed technologies.
  • Consider and research emerging technologies to improve current database design. Conduct POCs to demo new ideas and help solidify technical direction. Review all database related design and implementation.
  • Support database deployment activities, and help production DBAs in troubleshooting database issues.
